The law of attraction has endless potential, with it you can make your greatest desires a reality and when you get really good at using it, you can literally change your life from the inside out.

Yet for many people, the law of attraction can also be a great source of anxiety.

We start worrying about manifesting bad things, making mistakes, or about failing to attract what we want.

This causes many people to feel anxious and downright overwhelmed, which makes it a lot harder to manifest what you want.

It doesn’t need to be this way however, with the right approach, manifestation can become a fun and stress-free activity.

When the law of attraction is approached correctly, your focus will primarily be on what you wish to receive from the universe and any anxious feelings or thoughts won’t affect you much.

Not just that, but if you struggle with anxiety in general, it can be used to greatly improve how you feel. You can quite literally manifest peace of mind.

In this post, I’m going to show what you need to do to stop anxiety from interfering with your manifestations and how to use the law of attraction to manifest away any anxious feelings that you may have.

Stop Being Afraid of Manifesting Bad Things

Now the very first and most important thing you need to do is to stop worrying about manifesting bad things into your life.

This is paramount if you want to succeed with the law of attraction and prevent it from becoming a source of stress and anxiety.

One of the greatest misunderstandings about the law of attraction is that you need to monitor your thoughts at every moment lest you attract the undesirable.

This belief has been perpetuated by law of attraction gurus and literature for decades and has caused untold mental distress among millions of people.

However, what you need to keep in mind is that while it’s true that you’re always manifesting, thoughts and emotions need to be intentionally focused on for them to have any tangible effects on your reality.

This means that so long as you make a conscious effort to avoid focusing on negative stuff, you can relax and stop worrying.

I’ve manifesting and experimenting with the law of attraction for many years, and every time I’ve succeeded, my thoughts weren’t exactly perfect. It doesn’t really matter.

As long as you’re making reasonable efforts and using the right approach and techniques, you’re good to go.

Think about it, when we attempt to consciously manifest anything, we use all sorts of elaborate manifestation techniques, along with deliberately focusing on what we want.

It’s going to take the same amount of mental effort to manifest anything negative.

And I’m going to let you in on a little secret, it’s actually easier to manifest positive things compared to negative ones.

Once you realize that nothing bad will happen if you accidentally think bad thoughts from time to time, you’ll feel a huge sense of relief immediately.

Don’t blame everything on manifestation

Life is filled with ups and downs. Sometimes great things happen, sometimes bad things happen. But end of the day, a lot of the events and circumstances in our lives are simply beyond our control.

It is important that whatever happens in your life, you don’t feel the immediate need to blame it on the law of attraction.

Many gurus would have you believe that everything, including the bad things that happen to you, happened because you manifested it.

However, it isn’t that simple. While negative thoughts may contribute to the attraction of negative thoughts, there are many other factors at play.

Such as the actions of others, or even other metaphysical laws, such as the law of vibration or the law of cause and effect.

That’s simply life. Sometimes unfortunate events happen, and it’s simply beyond our control. What the law of attraction can do though, is help improve or even completely turn the situation around.

However, before you can do that, you must have an understanding that not everything bad that happens is because of the law of attraction.

When you realize this truth, you’ll feel much more at ease.

You’ll be able to let go of significant amounts of tension and everything you do with the law of attraction will feel much better.

How to treat the law of attraction

Look at the law of attraction as an amazing tool that has tremendous potential in helping you obtain what you want and attract the life that you want to live.

But don’t look at it as some magical force that will make or break your life or determine your destiny.

In fact, I’d go as far as to say that you should only focus on what you want to attract and completely disregard any worries about unintentionally manifesting stuff that you don’t want.

Meditate

One of the best and simplest ways to calm the chaos in your mind is to practice a little bit of meditation.

If you’re new to meditation, the idea can seem intimidating or difficult but it’s actually very simple to do.

Here’s a simple meditation technique that’s very effective for calming your mind and ridding yourself of any feelings of anxiety

  1. Sit down on a chair, close your eyes and try your best to clear your mind of all thoughts.
  2. Now start counting your breath from one to ten.
  3. Mentally count every time you exhale until you reach ten and then restart the process again.
  4. Do this for about five minutes or until you can’t focus anymore.

Whenever you’re trying to manifest and find yourself feeling anxious, perform this meditation for a few minutes and you’ll immediately feel better.

If you perform this meditation regularly and get good at it, you’ll find yourself feeling an immense inner peace unlike anything you’ve ever felt before.

And when that happens, the results you get from manifesting with the law of attraction will become heaps and bounds better.

Be Patient

In as much as you can, try your best to not care about when you’ll receive what you ask the universe for.

The more you’re able to forget about time and simply let the universe do its thing, the faster your wish will come true.

One of the biggest sources of anxiety is thinking too much about when you’ll get what you want.

When you’re able to simply let go and allow the universe to bring it to you at the best possible time, you’ll get your wish much quicker and you’ll have far fewer worries.

Don’t worry about making mistakes

Instead, here’s what you should do. Familiarize yourself with the biggest mistakes to avoid in manifestation and do your best to avoid them.

Once you’ve done that just do your best and don’t worry about it. A slip-up from time to time is completely fine and won’t hinder your progress much at all.

How To Manifest Your Anxiety Away

Possibilities with the law of attraction are endless, with the right methods, you can use it to manifest almost anything.

Including, of course, the ideal state of mind where instead of anxiety you feel inner peace.

Here’s how you do it,

Any time you feel anxious or find yourself struggling with doubt, don’t resist it.

Accept that it is there and that it’s alright. Let go of all resistance and understand that even if you feel anxiety, you can still manifest what you want.

  • Focus intently on this very moment, pay attention to your breath and all the sights that you’re seeing around you. 
  • Focus on the present as deeply as possible, as if future and past no longer exist and at this very moment, all that matters is what you see in front of you. 
  • And as you do that visualize yourself being happy and smiling as if you have nothing to worry about. 
  • Do this visualization from a third-person perspective. 
  • Now visualize a white light engulfing your entire body and as you do that, feel all your negative emotions such as worry, or doubt being washed away from your mind.

The first part of this exercise allows you to clear your anxiety, at least for the moment.

And once your mind is calm, the visualization exercise that you do next will be much more powerful

You should do this exercise in a place where you won’t be disturbed and where it’s easy to focus on the present moment.

Do this often enough, and not only will you feel less anxious but you’ll find yourself attracting more circumstances that will put your mind at ease.
