Law of Attraction: Make your current relationship AMAZING

To be in love is one of the greatest experiences that can happen to us. Everything changes when we’re in love, we smile more, we eat better and we just become happier in general.

Unfortunately, there are times when love can disappoint too especially when they fail to live up to our expectations. There are even times when a relationship can get so bad that all it does is bring us unhappiness.

Truth is, however, that everyone deserves and has a right to be happy in the relationships they’re in. By using the law of attraction, you have the power to not only save a bad relationship but also take a good one to completely new heights. You will be able to have a relationship that would make you feel truly blessed to be in.

How to improve the relationship that you have using the law of attraction

Like any other thing, improving your current relationship comes down to putting your mind into the most positive and abundant state that it can be at. When your core beliefs, perceptions and thoughts about your relationship changes, the very relationship will change as well.

In this article, I’ve compiled a list of simple but very effective techniques and mental habits that when done over time will not only permanently improve your beliefs and thoughts about your relationship but also your thoughts about love and relationships in general. I’ve used these techniques to not only significantly enhance the relationship I have with my partner but also to maintain it. So let’s get started.

1. Pay attention to what you focus on in your relationship

Now the first step that you want to take is to take a close look at what you’re constantly focusing on in your relationship. If you spend a lot of time focusing on the flaws in your relationships, that will be what will you attract the most of. When you focus on behaviors that you dislike in your partner, you will only attract more situations where your partner will act out in that very manner.

Complaining, whining, and talking about the issues you face with your partner will only serve to magnify the things that you don’t want.

I understand that it can be especially difficult to not focus on what you don’t want, especially if they keep happening. So here’s what you can do.

Find out the opposite of the behavior that you dislike and focus on that instead

One of the most direct and effective ways to trick your mind into sending out positive vibrations and attract the situations that you want is by focusing on the opposite of the behavior that you dislike in your partner.

For example, if your partner has a habit of turning up late, try your very best to ignore it when it happens. Focus instead on change, imagine your partner being punctual whenever they meet you, ignore what your senses tell you and do your best to focus on what you imagine. As you do this more often you’re bound to attract many situations where your partner will treat you the way you want.

We can’t change other people

Remember the goal isn’t to change your partner directly, even with the law of attraction we can’t do this due to the free will that every person possesses. The goal instead, is to attract situations and circumstances where your partner will treat you in the manner that you want.

When the happiness in your relationships becomes your main point of focus, the universe will align all its forces in order to make that happiness come true. For example, even though you can’t directly make your partner more punctual in general, you can start attracting situations where your partner will make an effort to be punctual just for you.

2. Visualize what you want to have with your partner

What is it that you want from your relationship that you don’t have right now? Whether it’s passion, more love or just more fun, you have the ability to attract all of it through the power of your imagination. 

You see, the mind doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what’s imagined. By vividly imagining your relationship goals, you are able to cement its image securely into your subconscious mind. And when that happens, your thoughts, actions and, beliefs will naturally change for the better.

Why visualization is especially powerful in changing your current relationships

Unlike when you’re trying to attract a new relationship where you don’t how the person looks like yet, with a current relationship you already know intimately what your partner is like, you’ll be able to easily picture in your mind’s eye the way in which they look, they sound, they smell etc.  This makes the effects of visualization extra potent when used to enhance a relationship that already exists.

So how then do we start visualizing what we want

Here’s a simple but very effective technique that I’ve used many times to enhance the relationship I have with my significant other.

Before you do the visualization exercise below, quickly visualize your partner in your mind’s eye. Go into as much detail as possible, imagine their likeness, their scent, their clothes, the sound of their voice. Once you can get an extremely clear image of your partner in your mind, you can begin.

  1. Find a comfortable spot where you can relax and be undisturbed. Close your eyes.
  2. Picture yourself in an empty cinema with a large screen in front of you.
  3. Now in the screen, visualize yourself standing together with your partner.
  4. Visualize a few different scenarios of the both of you having the greatest relationship that you can think of. Visualize the things you’d do together, the way in which you talk to each other etc.
  5. Try to make these different scenarios in different locations. Some examples include your home, car and the mall.
  6. After you finished visualizing, open your eyes and give thanks to the universe for making it come true.

Don’t worry about the results, the very moment you do this exercise, you set the amazing workings of the universe into action. It is on its way.

Do this exercise once or twice a day if you can (doing it twice a day produces faster results), for it to work you have to do it consistently every day. Within a week or two you will start to see some visible changes at least, which in turn will make it easier for you to stay positive and increase your faith, allowing you to gain faster and better results.

3. Focus on one issue at a time

It can be tempting to attempt to change a few different aspects of your relationship all at the same time, perhaps you want your partner to be more passionate but also more caring as well. However, I recommend that you focus on changing one thing at a time first, at least initially.

The reason for this is that diving your focus has the danger of making you feel overwhelmed, and when you’re feeling overwhelmed you may start seeing your relationship as worse than it actually is. These are vibrations that you definitely don’t want to be sending out to the universe.

By focusing on manifesting one step at a time, you’ll be able to channel all of your mental energies much more intently and therefore acquire good results much more quickly.

Another thing you can do is to just focus on having a happy and loving relationship, when you’re able to attract you’ll naturally manifest all the good traits that a happy relationship entails.

Start with the issue that is of the least priority to you

This may sound counter-intuitive, however, there’s a good reason behind doing this. When you focus on an issue that isn’t that important to you, you’ll naturally be more detached and in a better state of mind to fix it. It will be much easier to obtain good results.

Once you attract some visible positive changes for these parts of your relationship, you will feel much more confident in your abilities to attract and manifest.

This confidence will carry over when you attempt to manifest greater changes, making it much easier for you to tackle bigger issues and change other things in your relationship that are of greater importance to you.

4. Avoid blame, even if your partner is wrong

Sometimes our partners do or say things that hurt us. Or perhaps by the way they act, they make us feel neglected and underappreciated. The natural reaction would be to blame our partners for the bad feelings we feel.

Nevertheless, you must avoid this temptation to blame them. Blaming even when justified will only serve to attract more situations where your partner is at fault.

There’s no need to rush into this. Whatever pain your partner has caused you, let it subside first, blame them as much as you need until you feel better and are able to let it go just a little.

Once you’re in a better state of mind, try to take an understanding approach. Find out the motivation behind their actions and try to see things from their perspectives. You don’t have to agree with them or their actions, just try to understand where they’re coming from.

Now don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t excuse them of whatever wrongs they may have committed against you but at the very least it will give you some feelings of peace and acceptance.

And these feelings of peace and acceptance will go a long way in using the law of attraction to better your relationship.

5. Deal with your frustrations

If you’ve ever felt frustrated at any point in your relationship, it is important that you acknowledge these feelings of frustrations and that you do not deny them. If you repress any dissatisfaction you feel, they will inevitably appear again somewhere along the road.

Pent up frustrations often manifest as passive aggressiveness and argument after you felt them for some time.

The main thing that you need to do is to acknowledge whatever frustrations you have about your relationship. As you acknowledge them you open the doors for change. You would be taking an essential step towards resolving them. From there you can work with the law of attraction to resolve whatever it is that you’re frustrated about.

Do note, that acknowledging them is NOT the same as focusing on these frustrations. As I mentioned earlier, you attract more of what you focus on. What you’d want to do here is let go of them after you’ve accepted the frustration you feel about your relationship. 

6. Have a clear idea of what you want

It is easy to identify what you dislike about your partner and relationship, but do you know clearly what is it that you actually want?

Sit down for a moment and think about how your relationship would be like in its most ideal state. Take a piece of paper and list down how you would want your relationship to be, down to the finest detail.

What would your partner be like? How would they treat you? What are the things that you’ll do together? List these down.

More importantly how would you feel? Take note the feelings you feel as you imagine your relationship in its ideal state, bask in that feeling of love and satisfaction. The more you’re able to feel these feelings, the more easily you’ll be able to manifest the relationship that you want.

Have a crystal-clear idea on what you want your relationship to be like and the universe will know just what to bring you.

7. Change and work on yourself

While our partners are there to enhance our journey through life, our own happiness is still very much our own responsibility. This may sound cliché, but even in the happiest of relationships, we must still be able to depend on ourselves. This is something many people forget when they enter into relationships.

By training yourself to be emotionally independent, you will be less dependent on your partner to satisfy you, this in turn will give you far more freedom and control over your relationship.

As you give you yourself the things that you hope to get from your partner, you will ironically start to attract them from your partner.

Give yourself the love that you deserve, and your partner is bound to start loving you more. Give yourself the respect that you deserve, and your partner will start respecting you.

Your relationships with other people are ultimately a reflection of the relationship you have with yourself. Once you understand this and cultivate a solid relationship with yourself, you will have an easy time manifesting the relationship that you want.

Understand that you can be the source of your own happiness and claim back the power over your reality and relationship.

8. Find the good traits about your partner and appreciate them

Your partner has a ton of good traits as well which is one of the reasons you’re together with them in the first place. Often times as we get accustomed to our partners, we take these good qualities for granted.

Place your focus on the good that is in your partner and you will manifest more situations where they will act in that manner to you. If you do this the overall quality of your relationship is bound to improve.

Practice gratitude for these traits

The easiest way to appreciate the good in your partner is be thankful for all the good qualities that they possess. Perhaps your partner is a polite person and you like this about them, be thankful about it.

List out all the things that you appreciate in your partner and spend a little time to give thanks for each and every one of them.

Go a step further and give thanks for having your partner in your life, for the relationship that you currently have. Think back on all the good times that you’ve shared together.

Get into the habit of appreciating and never taking for granted the good in your relationship and you will start sending out vibrations that will attract even more things in your relationship that you can be thankful for.
