The words we speak have immense power over our destinies. Of the many variables that determine the course that our lives take, the words we say are among the most important.
Not only that but being conscious of your words and choosing them properly are some of the easiest ways to get started with manifestation.
With a little willpower and dedication, you can pretty much will anything into existence through your words alone.
You see, how you speak not only determines the way that you think but also how you act AND what you attract into your life.
Literally every aspect of your life is affected by what you say, there is no escape. You can either let the power of words destroy you or you can let them support you, the choice is yours.
In this post, I will show you how you can literally speak into existence your greatest desires and goals.
I’m going to be dividing the post into two sections, the actual speaking technique itself and the words that you use on a daily basis. Both aspects of speech have a tremendous impact on your life and if you can get both of them sorted, you will be able to speak your way to heights that you never dreamt possible.
If you’re looking for one of the easiest, simplest, and most potent ways to attract what you want into your life, then read on.
Say something often enough and it will come true
Using words to create your reality.. hmm, sounds a little like magic doesn’t it? Well, that’s why words are ‘Spelled’, for their effects often appear magical to the uninitiated. It is no coincidence that the word spell is also used to describe the effects of magic.
But no, it isn’t magic, the real power of words comes from the power they have over your conscious and subconscious mind which in turn affects everything in your life.
On the physical and mundane level, your words strongly affect how you act and think.
Say something about yourself or your life often enough, and subconsciously, you will start finding ways to make it so.
On a more metaphysical level, the words you speak determine the vibrations that you send out to the universe which will in turn manifests as various phenomena and situations in your life.
The words you say ultimately become your most dominant thoughts
You see, every time you say a word, it leaves behind an imprint inside the deepest parts of your subconscious mind. Repeat or say something often enough and it will be conditioned into a deep-seated belief.
I’ll give you an example, years ago before I knew about the power of words. I frequently described myself as lonely despite having loving friends and family in my life. I was young and foolish then and thought it was “cool” to be a loner.
I indulged heavily in self-pity, always telling people how lonely I was, I even went onto online forums to whine about being lonely.
At first nothing, much happened, but as time passed, the effects of these words started being reflected in the circumstances of my life.
I started believing that I was doomed to be alone forever, the closest friends I had at the time started drifting away from my life and the idea of romantic relationships started to feel like nothing but an unobtainable dream.
Once I realized the gravity of what I was doing, I vowed to never again refer to myself as lonely.
I went the complete opposite direction and only used the most positive words whenever I talked about myself.
I made it a point to never describe myself in negative terms ever again. As you probably imagined, literally everything changed after that.
I started attracting real genuine friendships and romantic relationships that I once could only dream about into my life.
It took a few months, but just by changing the way I spoke about my relationships, I started attracting real and meaningful connections that brought me much joy and satisfaction.
Anyway, relationships, loneliness, friendships, and all of that are just examples. Words can be used to change any part of your life.
For example, if you want to be fit, then start using positive words to refer to yourself and your body. Use terms like fit, muscular, athletic when talking about yourself.
It will feel strange and even silly at first, in fact, it can even feel as if you’re lying to yourself, but stick with it and over time your subconscious will start accepting your words as truth.
As that happens these words will start changing your life.
Remember, your reality is preceded by your thoughts. It doesn’t matter how the current circumstances of your life are, change your thoughts and your life will change.
Speaking Your Desires into Reality: The technique
Okay, now that we’ve established the importance and power behind words, let’s move on to the technique of deliberately creating through words.
This technique involves reciting specially structured affirmations that are highly personalized towards your personality and psyche.
I have used this technique countless times to manifest all sorts of goals and desires of mine, small and big. In fact, even today it is a technique that I regularly use simply because of the amount of ease and comfort that it has brought into my life.
Here’s the technique
- Figure out what is it that you really want, try to be as clear and unambiguous about this as possible.
- Now find out the words that you associate with having that desire fulfilled.
For example, if your goal is to become rich, what are the words that resonate the most with that goal?
It’s different for everyone, for some it’s words like wealth, for others it could be abundance or even greed. Ask yourself what are the words that resonate with YOU the most.
- Now take those words and piece them together into a sentence and affirmation. Going back to the example about becoming rich, it can be something like ‘I am greedily wealthy’.
Don’t worry about the greedy bit, it’s just a way to trick your mind. But if you do indeed associate wealth with greed, then using an affirmation that contains that particular word would help significantly in tricking your subconscious into believing the affirmation.
Don’t worry, you won’t actually start becoming greedy, you will however start becoming wealthy pretty quickly.
- Repeat the affirmation before you sleep every night. Best that you repeat it until you become drowsy, then fall asleep with it being the last thought on your mind. This allows it to sink into the deepest depths of your subconscious, which is where the real magic happens.
Seems pretty simple, doesn’t it? Yet the power of this technique shouldn’t be underestimated. The longer you do it and the more consistent you are in doing it, the more powerful and obvious the results.
And believe me, when I say obvious I mean OBVIOUS. I have achieved results with this technique that can only be described as miraculous. Events lining up, complete changes in personality, doing things that I never thought I was capable of doing, you name it.
Give the technique a shot yourself for at least a few weeks, and you will be pleasantly surprised by the results you’ll get.
Pay Attention to The Words You Use Daily
“Words have power, words are power, words could be your power also.” M. Qahtani
Aside from using the technique above, you’ll want to watch the words you say in your daily life as well. Both aspects are essential to making the most use of the words you use in life.
Language is such an interesting phenomenon, a single object or situation can be described in so many different ways.
For example, a difficult situation in life can be looked at as a disaster or an opportunity depending on how you word it.
The words that you use to label the events of your life will strongly determine how they play out in the future.
No matter how hard any situation may seem, always try your best to paint it in the most positive light that you can. Doing this will grant you the power to overcome even the most insurmountable challenges.
Speak with Irrational Confidence
The greatest achievements in life were built upon the shoulders of people whose belief and confidence in themselves go way beyond their position and standing in life.
This irrational overconfidence allows their personalities to overshadow whatever personal limitations they may have and whatever odds that they may face.
This point is especially important if you’re looking to speak something big into existence.
If you look back in history, you’ll see the likes of Hellen Keller (Who was blind and deaf) and Jim Carrey (Was once homeless) who made their mark on the world and achieved all they set out to do in spite of some near-impossible odds.
All highly successful people have one thing in common, they always speak of themselves, their goals, and their circumstances optimistically with complete disregard for any limitations they face.
And as expected, their reality follows suit. Not instantly but gradually, as speaking in this manner becomes more ingrained into their personalities.
You see, it is not the state of our lives and our circumstances that dictates our reality, but rather our thoughts, words, and actions.
Your reality and the circumstances of your life will always bend to match your words, thoughts, and actions. Start with your words and your thoughts and actions will follow.
When talking about the difficulties you face in life, always err to the side of irrational optimism
Ever noticed how people who speak positively about themselves and their lives despite evidence to the contrary, always end up succeeding?
The reason for this is because speaking in a positive light tricks your mind into believing that everything is alright. And that makes all the difference when it comes to what you attract and how everything ultimately plays out.
You have to make it a point to look beyond your shortcomings and the circumstances in your life that aren’t ideal.
It’s completely fine to suspend your logic and disbelief whenever you talk about yourself and your life, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
For example, if you’re not yet where you want to be financially, never describe yourself as poor. Instead, say that you’re still in the process of working towards your financial goals.
That being said, you can be honest with yourself too if that’s what you prefer. For example, there’s no need to go around calling yourself rich if you’re uncomfortable with that.
As long as you’re positive in your speech, that’s enough.
Einstein once said that you can’t solve your problems using the same style of thinking that you used to create them in the first place.
And as words are the most direct reflections of your thoughts, changing them is one of the best ways to change your level of consciousness and the way that you think.
The people you speak to
Speak to the wrong people about your goals and it will only serve to detract you from even your greatest efforts in achieving them.
Therefore, only speak about the goals that matter the most to you to those that you know will be supportive of you.
That being said, sometimes despite our best efforts, we may encounter people who say words that shake our confidence and faith.
The good news is that you can learn to ignore and shut all of that out. Focus on what you believe to be true and ignore all advice to the contrary.
Remember one of the biggest parts of successful manifestation is to ignore all distractions, and focus strongly on the outcome that you envision.
What you say always takes precedence over circumstances when it comes to any form of manifestation.
But where possible, try your best to avoid talking about your goals to those who could potentially undermine you.
It’ll save you much effort in keeping your sense of faith and belief.
Conclusion
The total sum of our thoughts, speech, and actions determine our very destiny and the reality of our lives.
Compared to thoughts and actions, words relatively easy to change. Therefore, one of the easiest steps anyone can take towards improving their lives is by changing the way in which they speak.
Be consistent with the speak into existence technique that I’ve described in this post, do it every day without fail, and try your best to watch the words you use in daily life.
If you can do just both of these things, you will start manifesting miracles and your life will never be the same again.
