The law of attraction and gratitude are two terms that are often mentioned together and for good reason.

Gratitude is one of the most important qualities when it comes to successfully manifesting with the law of attraction.

There’s really nothing quite like the emotion of gratitude, it alone gives way to faith and brings about hope in even the darkest of situations.

It dispels doubt, anxiety, and depression and it alone has the power to bring about huge positive shifts in your life and state of consciousness.

Miracles have been manifested through gratitude alone.

And I’m not just saying this, time and time again, through many stages of my life, I have seen the immense power and effects of gratitude.

Through gratitude alone, I went from living in misery to living the life of my dreams. By truly being grateful for the things that mean the most to me, I was able to manifest everything that I ever wanted.

And the best thing is, not only is it immensely powerful, but its power is accessible to anyone in the world.

Every person is capable of vibrating in this amazing vibration and start manifesting wonders in their life.

What gratitude is and what it isn’t

Before we proceed any further, we need to have a clear idea of what gratitude actually is and what it isn’t.

Due to poor and misinformed teachings by loa gurus throughout the years, there are a lot of misunderstandings regarding gratitude.

Gratitude isn’t just feeling thankful like so many people believe.

Nor is it about being thankful for everything that you have.

What it really means to be grateful is to feel a deep sense of appreciation towards the people and things that YOU value the most in your life.

When you understand this truth, being grateful and enjoying its benefits comes about naturally.

The Most Important Part About Gratitude

Every guru and law of attraction book out there tells you to be grateful but no one ever tells you this secret about gratitude and the law of attraction.

Being grateful only works when it isn’t forced. One of the most common mistakes people make when it comes to expressing gratitude is trying to force it.

They try to be thankful for things that they don’t truly appreciate.

This is the wrong way to go about it and would only end up making you feel more frustrated.

Here’s how you do it

A better approach instead would be to figure out what is it that you currently have and can’t live without.

Take a moment to think hard about the stuff in your life and just for a moment, imagine that you don’t have them. Now how would your life be?

For example, is there a person in your life that you really cherish? How would your life be if you never met them?

Or perhaps you drive a lot every day, imagine how’d your life would be if you didn’t have a car.

Just by imagining such scenarios, you will immediately feel a genuine sense of thankfulness for having what you have in your life right now.

You’ll find out what you truly value the most and you’ll feel much more grateful about having them and because of that..

..It will come from deep within your being. It won’t be a forced or a fake sense of thankfulness but something that you feel strongly from deep down inside.

And when gratitude is expressed in such an authentic manner, its powers are unimaginable.

The Power Of Gratitude

Gratitude is unique in the sense that it works no matter what state of mind you find yourself in.

Even if you’re feeling really down or the current circumstances in your life aren’t good, by being grateful for what you value, you’ll be able to change your life relatively quickly.

No other emotion works the same way. You don’t even have to be positive, just be genuinely grateful and that’s enough.

It will trick your mind into focusing on what you have instead of what you lack which goes a long way when it comes to the law of attraction.

The very act of giving thanks, tells the universe to send you more situations and things to be thankful for. In short, by being grateful, you are allowing yourself to be blessed in as many ways as possible.

There are countless ways to manifest out there, everyone has a different approach towards the law of attraction.

So even if you’re responsible for whatever success or possessions you have right now, be grateful for it.

How to express gratitude to the universe

Gratitude is expressed most powerfully as a feeling. There’s no need for elaborate and special ways to express it.

As long as you follow what I’ve said above about being thankful for that stuff that you appreciate and value most in your life, then it’ll be expressed naturally.

Keep a Gratitude Journal

That being said, the habit of keeping a gratitude journal is a good habit to have.

Keeping a gratitude journal accomplishes two things, it gets you to be grateful by default by reminding you of the things in your life that you cherish the most and makes gratitude a routine in your life.

With your journal, keep things as simple as possible.

All you have to do is write a list of stuff that you’re grateful for. Limit this list to 10 things so that it doesn’t get tedious and become a chore.

Gratitude: The Key to Advance Manifestation

There are many levels to manifestation and the law of attraction, but even with the most advanced manifestation techniques, gratitude is still very important.

Your success with manifesting anything at all would be greatly enhanced by being as grateful as you can be.

In fact, I’m going to share with you one of my favorite law of attraction techniques that are related to gratitude.

My technique: Pre-Emptive Gratitude

Okay, so this technique is very simple but can be very powerful when paired with other law of attraction methods such as visualization.

Whatever it is that you’re trying to manifest, whatever you ask the universe for, be thankful for it even before you receive it!

This sounds ridiculous but believe me when I say that this works like an absolute charm.

When you’re thankful for something even when you don’t currently have it, your subconscious mind will start to believe that you actually have it and start working with the universe towards making it a reality.

Visualize what you’re trying to manifest, bask in the feelings and emotions of having it, and right after you’re done, try your best to feel grateful for it.

Remember, you don’t have to force yourself to feel grateful, just try your best to feel it and that’s enough.

Avoid Complaining

If gratitude has an opposite, it’d be complaining. When you complain, you basically repel all the good that’s flowing into your life.

Although it can feel pleasurable, complaining actually sends out signals to the universe to stop bringing you good things and bring you more of what you’re complaining about.

It is not that the universe is cruel or heartless, but it can only respond to the signals and vibrations you put out. In a sense, the law of attraction is a science and this is how it functions.

Therefore, no matter how tempting the urge to complain may be, try your best to resist it

Of course, if there’s something in your life that you’re unhappy about and you want to express it, go ahead and do it.

Just remember to let it go and don’t dwell on it more than needed.

In the universe’s eyes, it is only considered complaining when you talk about it often and consistently.
